A fungo has one job: let you put the ball exactly where your fielders are working, a few hundred times a practice, without your shoulder deciding when practice ends.
This one is turned long and light with a thin handle and a narrow barrel, so the bat does the work and your arm doesn't. Shorter fungos give more barrel control for infield work; longer ones lift fly balls to the outfield with less effort. Pick the length for the reps you hit most.
